Office of Intelligence and Security [OIS]
The purpose of the Office of Intelligence and Security [OIS] is to gather and analyze intelligence to advise SOCOM towards the best decisionmaking possible for future operations. Intelligence will usually be gathered through covert methods such as surveillance and infiltration. The identities and achievements of OIS members are not shared with the majority of HAF, so applicants must be willing to forfeit conventional rewards such as promotions, medals, and verbal recognition. There will be two different ranks that separates between the field & command units.
Intelligence Operative:
Duties:
- Watch for and report any external threats to the HAF, especially those of an illegal nature
- Conduct long-term surveillance and infiltration operations as directed by SOCOM
- Compile and provide material intelligence (ex: Screenshots) on objectives as directed by SOCOM
- Conduct disruptive operations in times of war under the leadership of the SOCOM and Intelligence Officers
Intelligence Officers:
Duties:
- Compile and store material intelligence (ex: Screenshots) on objectives to the database
- Command long-term surveillance and infiltration operations as directed by SOCOM
- Command disruptive operations in times of war under the leadership of the SOCOM and Intelligence Officers
Requirements:
Intelligence Operative:
- Must be above the pay grade of E-5
- Must be active regularly
- Must have a good record in HAF
- Must be willing to maintain secrecy concerning their work for the OIS and their status as Intelligence Operatives (a little popularity isn't worth it)
Intelligence Officers:
- Must be above the pay grade of W-2
- Must display strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Must have a good record in HAF

The identity of an Intelligence Operative and Intelligence Officers is kept secret. Holding this position will not interfere with an applicant's current ratings in any way except that it will take a certain time commitment. However, one's main rating duties take priority over OIS duties - they'll never have to turn down their usual work for something they aren't allowed to talk about.
