Regulation IV. (HQ duties and posts)
Headquarters duties and positions:
1. Information and Support Desk
The purpose of this desk is to allow all personnel to direct any queries towards Officers or CWOs. If a personnel requires assistance and is sitting at the desk, Officers and CWOs are required to provide a satisfactory answer for the enquiring personnel.
2. Front Desk (Recruitment desk)
The front desk's duty is to recruit civilians to join HAF. The front desk personnels assists civilians to change their motto, uniform and then tells them to join the HAF: Friends & Supporters badge. The front desk will also be called to "Attention" at times, to show personnel attentiveness. All personnels are permitted to man the front desks but enlisted are given priority.
3. Sentry Post
The Sentry allows personnels to enter the HQ. The Sentry should be active when there is at least two personnels on the front desk or whenever the Duty Officer (DO) requires it. The Sentry maintains a sense of alertness, and constantly checks and updates the PUL or PTS for personnel allowed in. The Sentry should be checking for motto, rank, attire and badge from the Personnel Tracking System.
4. Orderly Desk
The purpose of the Duty Orderly Officer (DOO) or the Duty Orderly Specialist (DOS) is to provide support to the front row and assist them in recruiting. The Orderly Desk should be active when there are at least three people on duty at the front desk and a sentry. The DOO/ DOS will maintain a sense of enthusiasm drive by keeping the moral up with frequent motivation checks, making sure trainings are being conducted and calling of "Attention" when an officer walks in. The DOO/ DOS has to maintain a professional environment at all times.
5. Transfer Desk
This area can only be used by personnels from OMR. The function of the transfer desk is to provide civilians/ personnels of other military an option to transfer. Civilians will sit at the desk and be invited to a first hand interview. A personnel of the Manpower & Reserves will speak with the transferee, and bring them into the cubicle for a direct interview.
6. Officer's Mess/ Dignitary Section
O-1 and above are permitted unrestricted access to the Officers Mess. Personnels or dignitary in the Officer's/ Dignitary Mess still have to observe HQ regulations.
1. Colored Chat Bubble
Different colored chat bubbles has different duty purposes in HAF facilities. Only use the correct chat bubble at the right times.
Red must always to be used for attention procedures
Green must always be used for any training purposes
Yellow will always be used for any annoucements
