Who can demote in HAF:
For ranks E-9* to CW5, personnels will have to submit a demotion appeal form with evidence attached to the IGA for approval. Only officer ranks from O-1 and above are allowed to demote personnels. However officers will have to submit and appeal to the IGA in conditions as such as:
1. The guilty party is also a Commissioned Officer.
2. The officer did not witness the contravention of the conduct.
When are you eligible for a promotion:
We operate in a promotion protocol with two terms called the Suggested Service Period (SSP) and the Maximum Service Period (MSP). This system is to assist HNCOs and above help lower rank personnels progress through the ranks.
The SSP is a period where the personnel has to serve at his/ her rank until eligible for a promotion
The MSP is a period where the personnel has hit the latest service date but still at this rank. Personnels that has reached MSP will be reviewed by the CSA and anyone in the promotion authority can promote him/her.
